Privacy Notice

Last updated 22 August 2026

LYNQ has not launched. Today this site does one thing with personal information: it records waitlist sign-ups. This notice describes that, and flags what will change when memberships open.

This notice explains how LYNQ handles personal information under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its implementing rules, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission.

1. Who is responsible

LYNQ is the personal information controller for the data described here.

2. What we collect right now

Only what you type into the waitlist form, plus one derived value:

InformationWhyRequired
NameTo address you when we make contactYes
Email addressTo tell you when LYNQ opensYes
Mobile numberAlternative contact, and SMS updates if you give itNo
CityTo decide which areas to launch in firstYes
Business nameMerchant applications onlyMerchants only
Whether you are a member or merchantTo route your enquiryYes
A one-way hash of your network addressTo detect repeat and automated submissionsAutomatic

We do not store your network address itself. It is combined with a secret value and hashed, which lets us recognise repeated submissions without keeping something that identifies you or your location.

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your network address as part of serving them.

3. Why we may lawfully hold it

Your consent, given when you submit the form. You may withdraw it at any time (see section 6), and withdrawal will not disadvantage you.

4. How long we keep it

Waitlist entries are kept for up to 24 months from submission, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first. If LYNQ does not launch in your area within that period, the entry is deleted.

5. Who else sees it

Nobody buys this data, because we do not sell or rent it. It is handled by:

We may disclose information where the law requires it, such as a lawful order from a court or government authority.

6. Your rights

The Data Privacy Act gives you the right to:

To exercise any of these, email privacy@lynqph.com. We respond within 15 working days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the National Privacy Commission.

7. How it is protected

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach puts you at real risk of serious harm, we will notify you and the National Privacy Commission within 72 hours of becoming aware, as the law requires.

8. What changes when memberships open

LYNQ is a membership platform, so a live service will process more than a waitlist does — membership and billing records, the discounts you redeem and where, reward points, and give-back contributions. Merchant staff will see a confirmation screen showing your name and membership code when you redeem.

This notice will be replaced before that happens, and you will be asked to agree to the updated version when you sign up. Being on the waitlist does not enrol you in anything.

9. Children

LYNQ is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted the form, email privacy@lynqph.com and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this notice

If we change it materially, we will update the date above and — where we hold your contact details and the change affects you — tell you directly.

11. Contact

privacy@lynqph.com for anything about your data, or hello@lynqph.com for everything else.
